Ross O'Carroll is hurling and football player for Dublin and Kilmacud Crokes.
Hurling
O'Carroll made his championship debut for Dublin against Wexford in the 2007 Leinster championship and scored a total of 1-01 in a game which Dublin lost by a point.[1] O'Carroll helped guide Dublin to victory in the 2005 Leinster Minor Hurling Championship by scoring one point in the game.[2] O'Carroll attended Oatlands College in Stillorgan. O'Carroll is the older brother of Dublin minor dualstar Rory O'Carroll. He won the Leinster Under-21 Hurling Championship with Dublin agaainst Offaly in July 2007. It was Dublins first Under-21 trophy since 1972.
He won a Dublin Senior Football Championship medal with Crokes in October 2008 at Parnell Park appearing as a substitute.[3] He then went on to win the Leinster Senior Club Football Championship and the All-Ireland Senior Club Football Championship with Crokes.[4] Ross has also won medals as County Division One champions and the Dublin Minor Football Championship. Ross opted to change from hurling to football for the 2010 season. He is yet to make his debut due to injury.
